It’s a known fact that many Bollywood stars have cosmetic surgery to hold on to their youthful looks even though many have denied ever going under the knife.

Celina Jaitley is the latest celeb to be linked to plastic surgery.

According to gossip site Mid Day, the actress has been spotted with her "new look" at a promotional event for her upcoming movie Hello Darling.

Those there say Celina’s facial features looked like they were in "deep freeze" when she attended the music launch for the film.

Hello Darling, directed by Subhash Ghai, will be released next month.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively: Id love to beat Ryan Reynolds up

Actress Blake Lively has revealed that she would love to beat up actor Ryan Reynolds.

Lively and Reynolds, 33, have been at the Comic-Con conference in San Diego promoting their new superhero flick Green Lantern.

In the film, Lively plays Reynolds’ love interest Carol Ferris, but her character eventually turns into a villain in the movie franchise.

And the 22-year-old actress said she has loved being able to bring out her inner-bad girl for the role.

She told MTV News: 'Oh my gosh! I would love to… to beat [Ryan Reynolds] up! Best day ever!'

The Gossip Girl star also said she thinks that her co-star’s wife, actress Scarlett Johansson, 25, would be a good person to teach her how to fight.

She said: 'Oh, I think she [Johansson] would beat him up too! She's Black Widow!

Arrest warrants issued on Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia

A local court on Saturday issued arrest warrants against IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab co-owners actress Preity Zinta and industrialists Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman for failing to appear before it on a complaint accusing them of not filing its balance sheets and annual returns.

The bailable warrants were issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate J S Sidhu after neither the three co-owners nor their counsels appeared before the court on a complaint filed by the Registrar of Companies (ROC).

However, another co-owner and industrialist Karan Paul’s counsel appeared before the court and submitted that he would appear in person on the next date of hearing.

The court later adjourned the case till October 4. The court had in April issued notice to the four co-owners of KXIP and fixed July 24 as the next date of hearing.

The prosecution submitted that the co-owners of the company had tried to conceal the financial position of KPH Dreams, which owns KXIP, from the public by not filing the balance sheets and annual returns.

In our complaint, "we had submitted that the Mohali franchise had not filed any annual return and balance sheet since it came into existence," Gaurav Hooda, counsel for the ROC, said. (PTI)

Industry insiders say that he is going to direct two commercials for a specific purpose. He would do so in order to promote his latest movie Kaleja. The maverick director feels that these two television commercials would promote the movie more than typical publicity.

One of the commercials has already been shot and is for the soft drink brand ‘Thums Up’. Incidentally, this is one soft drink giant endorsed by Mahesh. It is said that a number of adrenaline pumping scenes have been shot, so as to keep the image of ‘Thums Up’ intact.
People can also get a glimpse of what the hero Mahesh has to offer in his forthcoming Kaleja. The advertisement would be aired soon.

Jesse James wins custody battle

Television personality Jesse James has won the custody battle against ex-wife Janine Lindemulder and has been granted permission to move his daughter to Texas.

James, who has been officially handed over physical custody of Sunny, will move to the state on July 31st to be closer to his former wife Sandra Bullock and her adopted son Louis

Bullock is currently staying in Austin, Texas. She moved earlier this year following news of her then-husband's alleged infidelities.

According to the report, porn star Lindemulder asked the judge to ban James from moving from California with their daughter Sunny, arguing that Bullock has no interest in continuing a relationship with the youngster.

Bullock and James were granted full guardianship of the six-year-old in early 2009, after Lindemulder was sentenced to six months in jail for tax evasion.

But Lindemulder has been told she can have physical custody of the child until she starts school in Texas in September.

Random House Films and Focus Features announced the film adaptation of David Nicholls' bestselling novel One Day has begun production in the U.K. Starring Anne Hathaway (Alice in Wonderland) and Jim Sturgess (21), One Day is directed by Lone Scherfig (An Education) from a screenplay by novelist Nicholls.

The supporting cast include Romola Garai (Atonement), Jamie Sives (Get Him to the Greek), Rafe Spall (Hot Fuzz), Ken Stott (Charlie Wilson's War), and Jodie Whittaker (The Kid).

Focus released this synopsis for One Day: "The story charts an extraordinary relationship. Emma (Hathaway) and Dexter (Sturgess) meet on the night of their college graduation - July 15th, 1988. Siddhartha to quit acting soon

After a string of successful movies in regional languages and Hindi, looks like Siddhartha might quit acting after all. He has been quoted as saying so in a tabloid interview. Siddharth, who is trained in Carnatic music, has started his own recording studio according to reports. Besides, he’s also formed a music troupe to play backup instruments.

“I realized there’s only so much scope for acting in cinema, whereas I am hopeful that music will give me more avenues to prove myself,” said Siddharth in the interview. This has given rise to speculations that Siddharth’s debut as a music director is not too far. Siddharth has also sung for his recent Bollywood flick Striker.

Jacqueline Fernandez loves Indian weddings

Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who made her Bollywood debut with ’Aladin’, says she is fascinated by big-fat Indian weddings and would love to attend one.

"I am very fascinated by Indian weddings, I have not attended any so far, but I would love to attend one soon," Jacqueline said.

The 26-year-old was in Delhi as the brand ambassador of the wedding exhibition Shagunn that will take place August 21-22 at the Ashoka hotel.

"Being part of a wedding exhibition like this, introduces us to the whole fascinating world of elaborate Indian weddings and all that goes behind the preparations," she added.

The former Miss Sri Lanka, who teamed up with Riteish Deshmukh in ’Alladin’ and ’Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’, denied rumours that she was dating her co-star.

"You know, it’s you people who cook up all these stories. Before the release of the movie, you will hear stories like this only - the co-stars are dating each other. In our case same thing happened," said Jacqueline.

But the rumours didn’t stop her from praising Riteish.

"It is always comfortable to work with a co-star who is a friend first. So we share a comfort level. Apart from that he is a very wonderful person and a talented actor," she said.

Shagunn, a two-day wedding exhibition, will have collections showcased by designers including Adarsh Gill, Charu Parashar, and Mandira Wirk. (IANS)

Visual-Effects Category Nomination Increases To Five At Oscars

The next Academy Awards Ceremony will be a more glorious moment for the visual-effects category.

The ‘Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ has raised the number of nominations in this category. This was announced by their board of governors.

The visual-effects category nominations have been increased to five from the original number of three. The next Oscar awards ceremony will be on February 27, which will be the 83rd awards show.

As the digital-animation technology is advancing continuously, the attention will switch towards the visual effects category. This category has featured three nominees every year since 1996. Last year, the award for this category went to the science-fiction blockbuster Avatar.

On Thursday, the academy has also announced some alterations in the feature-animation category. The minimum running time for the feature-animation category has been shortened to 40 minutes, from the original 70 minutes.

According to the new rules, the language has to elucidate what constitutes an animated film.

Usher and The A-Team stars join hands for UK milk campaign

American singer Usher and the star cast of the film The A-Team are urging Britons to have more milk in a new advertising campaign in the UK.

Usher, actors Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley have posed with ‘milk moustaches’ in the new Make Mine Milk ad.

The ad campaign will appear on billboards and on the sides of buses to encourage consumers to rediscover the health benefits of low-fat milk.

Usher insisted that milk made him more creative in the studio. “Milk is music food for sure. It keeps me fresh when I’m recording and helps give me the energy to perform night after night when I'm on tour,” The Daily Express quoted Usher as saying.

“You need to look after yourself if you want to stay at number one, so my message to my British fans is: eat right, exercise well and grab a glass of low-fat milk to keep you cool,” he added.

The ad campaign aims to boost popularity low-fat milk after its sales declined since 2001.

Neil Nitin Mukesh makes his Dad’s dream come true

Veteran singer, Nitin Mukesh who turned 60 on Sunday got his life’s most cherished gift from son, Neil Nitin Mukesh

The Mercedes is a car that the senior Mukesh wanted to own all his life.

Says Neil excitedly, “You had to see his expression when I took him by the hand, blindfolded to the garage where the car was parked and showed him his dream car. He jumped up and down and squealed like a child. He then ran to his best friend’s apartment and got him down to see the car. The two of them were like a couple of excited school kids on their first outing to Disneyland. It was full paisa –vasool for me.”

For Neil this was the proudest moment of his career as an actor so far. “If I’m earning a certain amount of money my biggest wish is to make my family happy with what money can buy. I planned to buy the Merc for dad for over a year so that I can give it on his 60 th birthday.”

For Nitin Mukesh the Mercedes still remains the ultimate luxury car.

Chuckles Neil, “When I bought myself the Audi Q7 last year Dad was like… ‘Ok, but the Merc’s the car for me.’ I then decided what his gift would be on the 60th birthday.”

On Sunday, the entire family drove in the golden Mercedes to Amby Valley for celebrating Papa Nitin Mukesh birthday.

“We’re all here, my parents, my sister, brother-in-law and my two extremely naughty nephews and my younger brother. Yesterday for Dad’s birthday we took a boat into the middle of the lake and stayed in the waters the whole day, singing my grandfather (Mukesh)’s songs. There’s nothing I enjoy more than being with my family.”

Neil says he doesn’t miss a love life. “Between my family and my work there’s no room at the moment for love. It isn’t as if I’m not going out with girls. But it’s nothing serious. No strings attached. Except the ones in the clothes that they wear.”
