Hollywood has always been way ahead of its time in terms of its content and technology.No wonder then, Hollywood fascination doesn't limit to Bollywood actors or Indian masses. The American film industry dominates most of the foreign markets too including Australia, Canada and UK.
The Shahenshah of Indian Cinema, Amitabh Bachchan however doubts the global dominance of American films. He admits that Hollywood does churn out some good films although believes their subjects are relevant to their society.
The actor elaborated by stating an example of 'The Social Network'. The actor saw David Fincher's widely acclaimed film and found it amazing. Although added, "'The Social Network' was a good film but unfortunately most of India does not know internet. Let Hollywood make a film like 'Baghban' ... will they?"
The legendary actor has always stood by the 'Hindi film industry' and has always been in favour of its unique identity.
Mr Bachchan is one of the many senior Indian actors who rightly object to the usage of word 'Bollywood' too as it deprives it of its identity.
